Finally some good news to report!! We have been using White Cap's access to put out a few of our rentals yesterday and today. The rental have been placed south of Hunters Point. We flooded the crack out front yesterday to help the healing process. As soon as we feel it is safe we should be ready to rock! We have some availability this weekend for anyone interested in coming up! Give us a call at (320) 676-3227. Stay Tuned for more updates!

Sounds like the weather is going to cooperate next week. Monday and Tuesday the highs are in the upper 30s but after that it looks like it is going to be some great ice making weather. I am still looking forward to getting the big house out on the lake hopefully in the next week or so.

Is there any chance of Hunter's doing a discounted price this year? I realize they need to make some money and they weather is completely out of their control but I have heard a few people now say they are not even thinking about putting their house out now because it is not worth the price this year. Just curious....I am putting my house out either way!

The forcast is looking better! The couple days in the 40s doesn't help us but it looks like next Thursday the temps finally start to feel like winter and we should be making some ice. Unfortanatly we cannot offer a discount because of the late season. There is no way for us to guarantee that mother nature will cooperate with us and that you guys will get a full season each year. We are storing the house for the entire year so that is part of the cost. I understand everyone's fustration... we want to get out there before there is hardly any time left as well. We are loosing time and money as well on rentals and business. So we appreciate your patience and as soon as we know its safe we will be pulling like crazy to make sure you guys get as much time out there as possible. Glad to hear your still excited to get out there even if it may be a little shorter this year!! See you soon!

This year I was going to be fishing with my truck and wheel house this weekend, I changed it to next week and I changed it again to 1/19/2012

I feel bad for the resorts due to the weather, if I lived close by I would of been up a couple of times already with my 4 wheeler, but I have 8 hours travel to get to your resort, so could give me a guess if the ice should be good for my truck and wheel house by the 19th, I see the weather is getting cold starting the 11th.

Thank you.

One more thing to "abcefg" all fish houses are required to go on the lake whether it be just out of a day or so and then pulled back. That is a county ordinance. If the fish houses don't go out on the lake they are considered a cabin structure.

@Captain Walleye we appreciate you making the drive!! Right now we are thinking if the cold weather comes and holds out you will most likely be able to drive by the 19th. There are no guarentees though. The only thing we can tell you is keep checking. The weather is so unpredictable that we can't say one day from the next if it will stay cold enough to keep making the ice we need to allow vehical traffic. We will keep trying to post as often as it takes to keep everyone informed. Thanks!
