I WAS GOING TO BRING MY WHEELHOUSE UP IN A FEW DAYS AND HAVE NEVER FISHED THE MUD.  DO I WANT MY HOUSE DURING DARK HOURS ON TOP MIDDLE OF A FLAT, TOP EDGE OF A FLAT OR BOTTOM EDGE?  I KNOW IT MAY VARY FROM DAY TO DAY BUT WHATS THE GUIDELINE YOU GO BY?  THANKS GUYS!

I guess, I haven't fished the flats at night. I've always thought of it as a daytime structure. I would suggest moving to some rock/gravel transition areas 23-24 fow for the night bite.

Fished a flat Saturday night. Had house at 26 feet on top. Had 4  outdoor boxes  at 27, 28, 29, 32 feet. caught 2 in the house at night. 4 at 27, 3 at 32. Summary Put the house on top fish outside with outdoor boxes at various depths.
